Meyer, Rafael; Jenewein, Josef; Böttger, Sönke (2014). Aufgabengebiete und Behandlungsansätze in der Konsiliar-Liaison-Psychiatrie. Schweizer Archiv für Neurologie und Psychiatrie, 165(5):158-166.

Abstract

Areas of activities and approaches of treatment in consultation-liaison psychiatry Consultation-liaison psychiatry represents one of the newer fields of psychiatry with increasing importance amidst the interface of medicine and psychiatry. The understanding of the substantial degree of incidence and prevalence of psychiatric illness in medical disease has made this sub-specialty essential to the modern general hospital. Its tasks, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic processes, deviate from the approach known from general psychiatry. A more comprehensive approach with critical consideration of the medical situation is required in order to reach the correct assessment, diagnosis and management. This review aims to describe this specific approach, the diagnoses and management approaches common to consultation-liaison psychiatry.

TrendTerms

TrendTerms displays relevant terms of the abstract of this publication and related documents on a map. The terms and their relations were extracted from ZORA using word statistics. Their timelines are taken from ZORA as well. The bubble size of a term is proportional to the number of documents where the term occurs. Red, orange, yellow and green colors are used for terms that occur in the current document; red indicates high interlinkedness of a term with other terms, orange, yellow and green decreasing interlinkedness. Blue is used for terms that have a relation with the terms in this document, but occur in other documents.
You can navigate and zoom the map. Mouse-hovering a term displays its timeline, clicking it yields the associated documents.
