Abstract

Der Aufsatz beschäftigt sich mit dem Stellenwert der Philosophie im frühen Christentum. Exemplarisch werden Texte der Apologeten (Tatian) und des Neuen Testaments (Apostelgeschichte, Paulus) untersucht. Es wird ein kulturwissenschaftlicher Zugang vorgeschlagen.
The paper deals with the relevance of philosophy in early Christianity. The argument is focused on texts of the early Apologists (Tatianus), and of the New Testament (Acts of Apostles, Paul). The papers offers a kind of culturalist interpretation of early Christian and late antique discourses about philosophy.
