Abstract

At the conference „De/Constructions of Occidentalism“ in Berlin (June 21–23) we met Prof. Jasbir K. Puar, assistant professor of Women‘s and Gender Studies at Rutgers
University (USA), who describes herself as an interdisciplinary, transnational feminist scholar. With the upcoming conference „Travelling Concepts“ in mind we took the
opportunity to talk to Prof. Puar about her research and her teaching.
