Abstract
In this project the relation between language-games, linguistic reference and the search for realism should be investigated. If one defends a strong, that means an "internalistic" account of language-games, one will be inclined to hold a non-realistic interpretation - but an interpretation of what? Concerning Philosophy of Religion this question gets a further nuance: the reality of God and the reference-problem of religious utterrances.
It will be presented an "internalistic" approach of language-games attempting to satisfy our realistic intuitions too - with critical focus on the later writings by Wittgenstein and their special reception in D.Z. Phillips.
