Abstract

It was possible to demonstrate papillomavirus DNA with a broad range PCR from skin biopsies of a diamond python (Morelia spilota spilota) with nodulous skin alterations. Epidemiology and clinical manifestation of reptile papillomatosis are suspected to be similar to papillomas in mammals.
