Abstract

This paper focuses on MEMPHIS (Multi-frequency Experimental Monopulse High-resolution Interferometric SAR) data processing, possible applications using its various SAR modes and the results obtained. The processing chain used to focus MEMPHIS data is presented. To demonstrate the focusing quality, the signatures of corner reflectors were analyzed, revealing not only a high resolution, but also a very precise geometric positioning accuracy on the order of the resolution, in spite of MEMPHIS’ experimental and portable design. Finally, applications and results using the various antennas are presented, such as the generation of digital surface models with the multi-baseline interferometric antenna along with a quality evaluation, as well as channel combinations of the polarimetric data.
