Observations on the duration of action of suxamethonium in the dog

Jones, R S; Heckmann, Rudolf; Wuersch, W (1978). Observations on the duration of action of suxamethonium in the dog. British Veterinary Journal, 134(6):521-523.

Abstract

The duration of action of a dose of 0.3 mg/kg of suxamethonium chloride was investigated using the evoked electrical and mechanical response to stimulation of the ulnar nerve. A mean time of 25 min was required for restoration of 50% of the muscle activity and 29 min for a complete recovery.
