Abstract

The open access journal “Cardiovascular Medicine” is an international clinical practice journal with selected reports of original research that are peer-reviewed by international as well as national experts. The journal covers the entire spectrum of cardiovascular medicine and is a platform for postgraduate education and scientific work in the fields of cardiology, angiology, hypertension and cardiac and vascular surgery.
"Cardiovascular Medicine" is the official publication of the Swiss Society of Cardiology, the Swiss Society for Angiology, the Swiss Society of Hypertension and the Swiss Paediatric Cardiology Society.
