Primate behavior and human universals

Burkart, J M; Strasser, A (2008). Primate behavior and human universals. Evolutionary Anthropology, 17(2):85-87.

Abstract

The theme of the VI Göttinger Freilandtage, December 11–14,
2007, was to integrate research on human behavior with what
we have learned about primate behavior. To allow a direct dialogue, the organizer, Peter Kappeler, invited fifteen of the world’s leading authorities from both backgrounds. Their
key lectures were supplemented with short presentations and a poster session.
