„Ich sah den Satan wie einen Blitz vom Himmel fallen“ (Lk 10,18)

Vollenweider, Samuel (1988). „Ich sah den Satan wie einen Blitz vom Himmel fallen“ (Lk 10,18). Zeitschrift für die Neutestamentliche Wissenschaft und die Kunde der älteren Kirche, 79:187-203.

Abstract

Jesus’ statement in Luk 10:18, which is to be seen in the context of verse 19f, is not an expression of the fact that Jesus fought against Satan and his demons amidst the apocalyptic battle between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan. The conceptual background of Luk 10:18 is revealed in TestSal 20, in which meteors and thunderbolts are related to a demonological field. In Luk 10:18 it is an eschatological event that has already occurred and – similar to the exor¬cisms – is a result of the arrival of the kingdom of God and not of Jesus’ struggle.

Their timelines are taken from ZORA as well. The bubble size of a term is proportional to the number of documents where the term occurs. Red, orange, yellow and green colors are used for terms that occur in the current document; red indicates high interlinkedness of a term with other terms, orange, yellow and green decreasing interlinkedness. Blue is used for terms that have a relation with the terms in this document, but occur in other documents.
You can navigate and zoom the map. Mouse-hovering a term displays its timeline, clicking it yields the associated documents.
