Zeit und Gesetz. Erwägungen zur Bedeutung apokalyptischer Denkformen bei Paulus

Vollenweider, Samuel (1988). Zeit und Gesetz. Erwägungen zur Bedeutung apokalyptischer Denkformen bei Paulus. Theologische Zeitschrift, 44:97-116.

Abstract

The subject of this essay is the relationship between the apocalyptic and time. The author investigates the meaning of Paul’s apocalyptic patterns of thought in the context of early Jewish tradition. He demonstrates that the Pauline perception of time is based on Christology. In the face of the cross, humans can experience time in a new way.
