PURPOSE: To compare the clinical safety and efficiency of two optional inferior vena cava (IVC) filters.

MATERIAL AND METHODS: Ninety-three consecutive Günther Tulip filters (92 patients) were compared with 83 consecutive OptEase filters (80 patients).
