Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of acute dopamine agonistic and antagonistic manipulation on the visual-cue induced blood oxygen level-dependent signal response in healthy volunteers. Seventeen healthy volunteers in a double-blind placebo-controlled cross-over design received either a dopamine antagonist, agonist or placebo and underwent functional magnetic resonance imaging.
