OBJECTIVE: To evaluate verteporfin and same-day ranibizumab on retina, choroid, vasculature, choroidal neovascularisation (CNV) and visual function. METHODS: Eleven patients with occult or predominantly classic subfoveal CNV secondary to age-related macular degeneration received verteporfin and four monthly intravitreal ranibizumab injections.
