On the 24th of April 2013 at 08:45 in the morning in Dhaka District, Bangladesh,an eight-floor commercial building, known as Rana Plaza, collapsed due to astructural failure. The building contained apartments, banks and clothing factories,which produced ready-made garments (RMG)1for major Western clothing brands(BBC 2013).
