| dc.description.abstract | We functorially characterize groupoids as special dagger Frobenius algebras in the category of sets and relations. This is then generalized to a non-unital setting, by establishing an adjunction between H*-algebras in the category of sets and relations, and locally cancellative regular semigroupoids.
