Placental growth factor (PlGF) is a pro-angiogenic, N-glycosylated growth factor, which is secreted under pathologic situations. Here, we investigated the regulation of PlGF in response to ionizing radiation (IR) and its role for tumor angiogenesis and radiosensitivity.
