Abstract

The paper deals with utterances that do not contain a predicate (verbum finitum) in a number of varieties of the Polish language, including new types of Internet communication, along with their counterparts in the Russian language. The majority of the material in question has been collected with the help of Google search engine or comes from the author's studies on the colloquial language usage.
