The duration of action of a dose of 0.3 mg/kg of suxamethonium chloride was investigated using the evoked electrical and mechanical response to stimulation of the ulnar nerve. A mean time of 25 min was required for restoration of 50% of the muscle activity and 29 min for a complete recovery.
