Munich: C.H. Beck.

Abstract

The first edition of the monograph shows that a fundamental paradox (that a line consists of infinitely many points) underlies all four paradoxes of motion: the runner, Achilles and the Tortoise, the Arrow and the Stadium. By the dissolution of the fundamental paradox, all four paradoxes of motion disappear.
