This paper presents an analysis of some of the works of the Belgian artist Marcel Broodthaers, more precisely his relationship with word and image in the context of the development of literary practices in his own exhibitions. With this poetical approach, Broodthaers is an essential name when considering the materialism of literature in post-1950’s museums.
