Abstract
This report summarises the main insights and questions discussed on 6 February 2020 as part of the Research Dialogues at the Media and Communications Department at LSE. This was panel discussion with the Dutch, Spanish, Swiss, UK and US partners of the From Digital Skills to Tangible Outcomes project. It focused on the difficulties of doing comparative research regarding the links between social and digital inequalities. Panel members used their experiences of doing research around the world to briefly outline problems they have come across deriving from theoretical, conceptual and empirical nuances and incompatibilities.
