Abstract

Metastases are the main cause of death in cancer patients. In a recent issue of Cell, Gonzalez et al., 2022
analyze gene expression on the single-cell level in brain metastases from various primary tumors. By profiling metastatic tumor cells and their niche, they demonstrate distinctive and shared features across metastases.
