Abstract

In order to advance technological innovations, there is a need for a continuous development of new fundamental concepts. To address this demand in the arena of spintronics, I investigated a class of graphene-based diradicaloid compounds, called cethrenes. During my PhD, I explored the unique reactivity of these compounds—discovered by serendipity—with the aim to transform it into a useful synthetic and functional tool. Further details of this intriguing concept will be enclosed during my presentation.
