Abstract
This transcription is based on Vatican City, BAV, Sbath 48, ff. 19r-21v (= V). References to a different version of the same work in Paris, BnF, arabe 2772, ff. 39r-44v (= P) have been added in the notes. Spelling guidelines established by the project Ptolemaeus Arabus et Latinus have been followed throughout. Textual dividers found in the base witness have been rendered as paragraph marks; full stops have been supplemented at the end of paragraphs.
