Recently, we reported on a family with many balanced and two unbalanced carriers of a reciprocal translocation, rcp(1;7) (q32;q34) [Schinzel, 1984a]. In addition to other congenital anomalies, both fetuses had severe holoprosencephaly (cebocephaly in one, cyclopia in the other). ....
