Abstract
Wir beschreiben einen Fall von schwerer Hypophosphatämie mit neurologischen, muskulären und hämatologischen Symptomen. Die symptomatisch relevante akute Hypophosphatämie kommt praktisch nur bei vorgängig phosphatdepletierten schwerkranken Patienten vor und kann schwere Folgen bis hin zum Tod haben. Die Diagnose ergibt sich aus Klinik und Laborwert und sollte eine unverzüglich Substitution zur Folge haben. = We report a case of severe hypophosphatemia with neurologic, hematologic and musculoskeletal symptoms. Acute hypophosphatemia becomes clinically significant if there is underlying phosphate depletion and can induce a variety of symptoms that can be deleterious. The diagnosis is made by clinical presentation and serum phosphate level. Treatment is promptly warranted, once diagnosis is confirmed.
