Anaplastic thyroid cancer is quite rare. Major distant metastases are usually seen in the lungs or bones or may spread locally into lymph nodes. Metastasis of thyroid cancer involving the heart has rarely been described in the literature [1, 2]. We report a patient in whom thyroid cancer metastasized into the heart. In addition, we describe the possible advantages of new multislice CT technology.
