Abstract
The article presents a study about juvenile delinquency in Switzerland and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The study found that delinquency rates are significantly higher among youth in Switzerland than in Bosnia and Herzegovina, except for group fights, robbery and assault. It revealed that violent victimization rates are relatively higher in Bosnia and Herzegovina than in Switzerland. The authors believe that these findings show the importance of focusing more on the conditions of successful integration in the host country and less on cultural and ethnic aspects. Tables that depict the results of the study are also presented.
