Abstract
[Geodata generation of the avalanche slope „Schwarzensteinbog“.] in this article the generation of the required geodata of the avalanche slope “Schwarzensteinalm” for the research project hOLA will be described. in addition to defining used data formats and the coordinate system, the basis for the data and its integration into a geographical information system will mainly be discussed.
For the avalanche simulation with SAmOS a digital terrain model was generated. Several objects in the area were measured using terrestrial surveying methods and subsequently integrated into a GiS. The measurements, using local coordinates systems, of the timber in the bog were transformed to the Austrian national Grid-System.
