Abstract
This study investigates the speech rhythm of Cantonese, Beijing Mandarin, Cantonese-accented English and Mandarin accented English using acoustic rhythmic measures. They were compared with four languages in the BonnTempo corpus: German and English (stress-timed) and French and Italian (syllable-timed).
